Calling all Public Sector Chief Executives

Do you want to play a leading role in the commitment to Equality and Diversity issues?

Not just the recruitment procedures or ticking the boxes, but really pushing the equality agenda forwards and securing an exciting vision for Local authorities and the public sector in the North East.
An exciting opportunity has arisen that we would like to share with our readers.  With the ongoing implementation of the Equalities Act, we see this as an opportunity to springboard a new and exciting model that is to be piloted in our ‘home’, the North East of England.
The pilot involves a new customised and accredited training scheme to develop an effective implementation of Equality Impact Assessments for all levels of Public Sector staff.
This will be then independently evaluated giving the public sector a picture of what equality perceptions look like and feel like in practice.
The information can then be fed back to the organisations to work on their outcomes in line with their Equality impact Assessments, thus helping to radically streamline and strengthen the New Single Equality Duty on the Public Sector.
If you would like to embrace this dynamic pilot and implement a model that can be flagshipped in the North East as the benchmark for effective Equality and Diversity Training within the Public Sector, we would like to know.
If you would like to be involved, please contact one of the team today (you can call 0800 031 9181 or use the contact form on the contact us page).

About Ora Training

We help our clients to get the very most from The Equality Act. Crucially, we take a very different approach to other training providers as we won’t lecture you on what you can’t do but identify positive things can you can do to improve your organisation. We start by listening to you and learning about your organisation and subsequently devise a bespoke training solution for you.

Consistent with our core values of sustainability and fairness, we achieve positive, long-term change by empowering organisations and teams. This is because we passionately believe that an organisation can only change when all staff members are empowered to create change. We call this process achieving equality through empowerment. We provide this outcome to clients from a range of sectors including the business, governmental and voluntary sectors.
